Central Queens Academy Charter School is a small, tuition-free, public school.

Established in 2012, CQA currently serves about 400 middle school scholars in grades five through eight on two campuses in Elmhurst and Glendale. With a focus on college preparation and career readiness, we offer a longer school day and school year than most public middle schools, as well as after-school programs. Most of our students are English-language learners from New York City School District 24.
