CQA Next is dedicated to developing a diverse and highly skilled teaching workforce by combining immersive classroom experience with rigorous academic preparation. Guided by the belief that great teachers are made, not found, our residency program seeks to redefine teacher preparation with a focus on equity, innovation, and long-term retention. Not your traditional RESIDENCY

One of the fundamental problems with traditional teacher preparation programs is that they often focus entirely on theory and knowledge and lack the essential hands-on practice and coaching that is necessary for teachers to be successful and effective in today’s classrooms. Through our two-year residency model, we are actively addressing this gap by providing aspiring teachers with the tools, mentorship, and real-world experience needed to enter the classroom as confident, high-impact educators. By integrating hands-on teaching, guided observation, and graduate-level coursework, we ensure our residents not only master the art of instruction but also develop the resilience, cultural consciousness, and leadership skills necessary to create lasting change in their classrooms.
